Manx X Factor star Simon Lynch may not have made it through to the live shows, but he’s back and working on a charity record.
Teaming up with the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, Simon wants to involve the general public in a special recording session.
He’ll be covering Elbow’s ‘One Day Like This’ – and is inviting people from all walks of life to come along to the Sea Terminal departure lounge at 10.30am, or Noa Bakehouse from 12.15pm on Saturday 28th November.
And, if you can’t make it to the recording sessions, you can email a video of yourself & friends singing the chorus to firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to be featured in the final video that will be released on You Tube along with the track. DEADLINE 28th November! Only the best & most inventive will get in!
Are you a business owner/manager? If not please go into work on Monday & spread the word! The highest corporate donation will also win the chance to sing with Simon, and bids can be sent to email@example.com.
The highest bidder will get to have some of their staff actually go into the studio with local singing talent and Xfactor contestant Simon Lynch & DAM Productions Isle of Man to sing with him on his track for the charity CD. They’ll also receive a signed copy of the first CD printed for distribution online & in store on 12th December. DEADLINE FOR BIDS is 24th NOVEMBER.
All CD proceeds will go to our charity to help provide more necessary facilities & equipment! All bids will count as a donation to the charity and be gratefully received.
The CD, due to be released next month, will also feature tracks from local singers Mark Walton and Mae Challis.
It will be available to download, and physical copies will be available from local retailers.
